KUALA LUMPUR, 8 August 2025 <\/strong>-The philanthropic arm of MR D.I.Y. Group [M] Berhad has been awarded the Foundation of the Year [Home Improvement Retailer] \u2013 Community Care Leadership Award<\/em><\/strong> at the recent Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the second consecutive year Yayasan MR D.I.Y. has received the prestigious \u2018Foundation of the Year\u2019<\/em> title. In 2024, the Foundation was honoured for its Outstanding Community Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised by CSR Malaysia under Pertubuhan Amal Tanggungjawab Kemapanan dan Korporat Malaysia, the annual awards recognise Malaysian organisations that demonstrate leadership in driving social, economic, and environmental progress. Winners are selected by a panel of esteemed judges from both corporate and social sectors, based on clear CSR goals, measurable impact, consistency, transparency, creativity, team capability, and sincerity of efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held on 17 July 2025 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the awards were presented by the Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the recognition, Zaleha Mohd Mydin, Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan MR D.I.Y.,<\/strong> said, \u201cThis award is a testament to the dedication and compassion of every member of Yayasan MR D.I.Y. and the MR D.I.Y. Established in June 2023, Yayasan MR D.I.Y. leads the MR D.I.Y. Group\u2019s community impact initiatives.
