MR D.I.Y. is inviting Malaysians to visit its first-ever giant rice cooker pop-up store in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur – part of its latest nationwide initiative, \u201cKini, Produk MR D.I.Y. Tahan Lebih Lama\u201d<\/em> (Now, MR D.I.Y. products last even longer).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The immersive installation,  complete with rising \u201csteam,\u201d lively music, and family-friendly activities, is MR D.I.Y.\u2019s creative way of bringing its quality promise to life. The 16-foot-tall rice cooker symbolises reliability and everyday comfort,  just like the brand\u2019s products, which are certified by leading national and international quality bodies, including Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara [SPAN] for water fittings, Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia [SIRIM] for quality and safety standards, Certificate of Conformity to European Toy Safety Standard [COC EN71] for toy safety, and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission [MCMC] for multimedia equipment. These certifications highlight MR D.I.Y.\u2019s dedication to providing products that are safer, stronger, and meet the highest standards.<\/p>\n\n\n

From 1 to 12 October, 2025, visitors to Bukit Bintang can explore the playful pop-up, shop exclusive items, and enjoy discounts on MR D.I.Y. products, including rice cookers, electric kettles, irons, trailing sockets, headphones, USB portable fans, lightbulbs, bluetooth speakers, and earphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark the launch, MR D.I.Y. turned up the fun with a dance performance featuring 20 PANDAi mascots. The event also marked the debut of its limited-edition merchandise –  the BUDDiY mini plushie series (Steamie the rice cooker, Sizzy the iron, and A-Ha! the lightbulb). PANDAi sling bags, priced at RM25.90, are also available exclusively at the pop-up.  Visitors spending RM25 or more on MR D.I.Y. products or PANDAi sling bags at the pop-up received a complimentary BUDDiY mini plushie.<\/p>\n\n\n
