Benns Chocolates pleased to launch a new line of single-source chocolates  simply called Benns, made using sustainable cacao sourced from Malaysian farmers only and  Thus will enable Benns Chocolate to control the entire process from the sourcing of the beans right up to retail and, at the same time, assist or support local farmers by ensuring that they get a fair share of the profit by removing the middleman<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benns Chocolate is the first local chocolate company to make premium chocolates using cacao beans ethically sourced from Malaysian farmers in support of the country\u2019s cacao sustainability. This movement is supported by the Malaysia Cocoa Board and the company works closely with the board to source and help cacao farmers to grow quality cacao trees for better produce and prices<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benns Chocolate director Wilfred Ng said the latest brand Benns is a purely Malaysian product. \u201cThe product we are launching supports Malaysian cacao. So, we\u2019re talking about only Malaysian-origin cacao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present at the launch was YB Datuk Hajah Siti Aminah binti Aching, the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities Malaysia<\/strong> and YBrs. Datuk Ramle Kasin, the Director General of the Malaysian Cocoa Board<\/strong>. The MCB is collaborating with Benns Chocolate to support local cacao farmers while encouraging and assisting them in elevating the quality of domestic cacao beans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
