Participants walked away with clearer insights into their cardiovascular health, underscoring the importance of early detection and preventive care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains one of Malaysia\u2019s most pressing health challenges. In 2023 alone, ischaemic heart disease claimed 29,741 Malaysian lives, almost double the 16,374 deaths recorded just four years earlier. A 2025 nationwide study further revealed that more than 21% of adults, or about 3.6 million Malaysians, face a high 10-year risk of developing CVD.  Beyond the human cost, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including heart disease, account for an estimated RM64.2 billion annually in healthcare expenses and productivity losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
