{"id":12430,"date":"2025-11-04T22:19:06","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T14:19:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/klhappenings.com\/?p=12430"},"modified":"2025-11-04T22:19:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T14:19:08","slug":"polymer-link-holdings-berhad-targets-rm24-3-million-fund-raising-from-initial-public-offering-ipo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klhappenings.com\/?p=12430","title":{"rendered":"POLYMER LINK HOLDINGS BERHAD TARGETS RM24.3 MILLION FUND RAISING FROM INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING (\u201cIPO\u201d)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>IPO to support Capacity Expansion, R&amp;D and Market Diversification in Specialised Polymer Solutions<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KUALA LUMPUR, 4 NOVEMBER 2025<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/polymerlink.net\/\"><strong>Polymer Link Holdings Berhad<\/strong><\/a> (\u201c<strong>Polymer Link<\/strong>\u201d) and its subsidiaries (\u201c<strong>Group<\/strong>\u201d), a regional and international plastic manufacturer specialising in manufacturing plastic powder and colour masterbatch for rotational moulding applications, officially launched its prospectus today in conjunction with its listing on the ACE Market of <strong>Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad<\/strong> (\u201c<strong>Bursa Securities<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2011, the Group has progressively built a strong presence within the plastic rotational moulding supply chain. The Group specialises in the formulation, compounding and grinding of plastic powder; both for general and specialty applications, as well as the production of colour masterbatch. These materials are key ingredients used in rotational moulding to produce large, hollow plastic products including insulated cooler boxes, water tanks, diesel fuel tanks, playground equipment and modular housing components. Headquartered in Klang, Selangor, the Group operates across Malaysia, the Philippines, India, the United States, and Australia, supplying an international customer base spanning over ten countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the IPO exercise, Polymer Link will raise approximately <strong>RM24.3 million<\/strong> via the issuance of 97,145,700 new shares at the IPO price of <strong>RM0.25<\/strong> per share (\u201c<strong>Public Issue<\/strong>\u201d). The proceeds will be allocated in the following manner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RM5.0 million<\/strong> for the expansion of its Australia operations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RM6.2 million<\/strong> for working capital requirements of the Group;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RM3.6 million<\/strong> for capital expenditure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RM2.0 million<\/strong> for repayment of bank borrowings; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RM7.4 million<\/strong> for estimated listing expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mr. Koh Song Heng, Executive Vice Chairman\/ President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Polymer Link<\/strong>, commented, \u201cThis IPO is a defining moment for Polymer Link. We are excited to move forward into this next phase of growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Group, through Polymer Link Malaysia, commenced manufacturing operations in 2014. The Group made its debut on the LEAP Market of Bursa Securities in April 2018 before voluntarily delisting in December 2020 as part of a corporate streamlining exercise. Over the years, it steadily expanded its market presence across Southeast Asia, India, the United States and Australia, building a reputation for quality, innovation and responsiveness in a specialised segment of the polymer industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Head, Equity Markets of Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad, Mr. Phang Siew Loong <\/strong>stated, \u201cPolymer Link\u2019s focused business model, geographically diversified growth and operational track record makes it an attractive proposition in today\u2019s industrial landscape. We are proud to have played a role in this journey and look forward to seeing the Group realise its next phase of growth as it strengthens its global presence and operational capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the launch of Polymer Link\u2019s prospectus, applications for the Public Issue are open from today and will close on <strong>11 November 2025<\/strong> at <strong>5.00p.m.<\/strong> Polymer Link is scheduled to be listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities on <strong>25 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon listing, Polymer Link will have a market capitalisation of <strong>RM140.0 million<\/strong> based on the IPO price of <strong>RM0.25<\/strong> per share and its enlarged issued share capital of 560.00 million shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hlib.com.my\/\"><strong>Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad<\/strong><\/a> is the Principal Adviser, Sponsor, Sole Placement Agent and Sole Underwriter for the IPO while <a href=\"https:\/\/dwaadvisory.com\/\"><strong>DWA Advisory Sdn.
