KUALA LUMPUR, 18 DECEMBER 2025 \u2013 I-Berhad<\/strong><\/a> (\u201cI-Berhad\u201d <\/strong>or \u201cthe Group\u201d), <\/strong>the master developer of i-City – Malaysia\u2019s No.1 Digital City, today announced the successful opening of the AI World Experience Centre<\/strong> at i-City Sales Gallery, marking the first physical public activation of AI World, Malaysia\u2019s first Artificial Intelligence (\u201cAI\u201d) enabled urban precinct<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AI World Experience Centre is a large-scale immersive showcase of artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics, offering visitors first-hand exposure to how AI will be embedded across future residential, commercial, wellness, and lifestyle environments within i-City<\/strong>. Developed in collaboration with AGIBOT<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s leading humanoid robotics companies, the centre features 100 humanoid robots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArtificial intelligence can feel distant to many people, Robotics changes that. When people can see intelligence in motion and interact with it directly, AI becomes easier to understand, less intimidating, and far more engaging,\u201d said Dato\u2019 Eu Hong Chew, Director of I-Berhad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positioned as both a public attraction and an immersive educational platform, the Experience Centre invites the public especially students and young learners to engage with artificial intelligence through hands-on experiences. Through interactive exhibits and live demonstrations, the Experience Centre also reflects I-Berhad\u2019s broader strategy of integrating technology into everyday urban living, ranging from smart facilities management and hospitality services to wellness support and intelligent environments, reinforcing i-City\u2019s positioning as a technology-led township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRather than traditional classroom-based learning, the Experience Centre emphasises experiential discovery, helping visitors develop curiosity, critical thinking, and an understanding of how AI and robotics will shape future careers and industries,\u201d Dato\u2019 Eu added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening of the AI World Experience Centre represents the first tangible milestone in the rollout of AI World, which forms a core component of I-Berhad\u2019s approximately RM5 billion remaining gross development value (\u201cGDV\u201d) within i-City.<\/strong> The broader AI World precinct is envisioned to integrate AI-centric commercial, residential, and wellness concepts, supporting the Group\u2019s long-term transition from a traditional property developer into a technology-enabled urban platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the experiential showcase, I-Berhad is advancing its plans to deploy Robotics-as-a-Service (\u201cRaaS\u201d) across its RM1 billion investment property portfolio<\/strong>, integrating AI-driven automation into property management, hospitality, lifestyle and asset operations. This initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency, elevate user experiences, and create scalable, recurring income streams beyond conventional property cycles, further elevating i-City\u2019s position as Malaysia\u2019s premier digital city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong, Chairman of I-Berhad<\/strong> said \u201cThe opening of the AI World Experience Centre marks a major milestone for I-Berhad and i-City. It represents the first realisation of AI World and demonstrates how artificial intelligence and robotics can be meaningfully integrated into an urban environment to enhance functionality, efficiency, and lifestyle experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cAs we move towards the official launch of AI World in January, this Experience Centre serves as a foundation for our broader vision of transforming i-City into a technology-enabled urban ecosystem. Supported by a strong remaining GDV and a growing investment property base, we believe AI World will enhance asset value, strengthen recurring income, and position I-Berhad at the forefront of intelligent urban development in Malaysia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AI World Experience Centre is now open to the public in preview mode, with expanded exhibits and programmes planned in future phases. The official launch of AI World is scheduled for 13 January 2026, which will officially inaugurate the precinct as a flagship initiative in Malaysia\u2019s digital transformation journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At i-City\u2019s AI Experience Centre<\/strong>, the first of its kind, artificial intelligence moves beyond technology to enrich everyday life. Inspiring children to experience, explore and learn how AI shapes the world around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
