Zoo Negara continued its annual tradition of organizing the Bubur Lambuk Cooking Programme under the theme \u201cSinar Ramadan \u2013 Kongsi Rezeki\u201d. The programme was held at Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Zoo Negara, with a total of 1,200 containers of bubur lambuk prepared and distributed to the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This annual initiative was organized in collaboration with Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn. Bhd. and 99 Speed Mart Sdn. Bhd., symbolizing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment between Zoo Negara and its valued sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Zoo Negara is widely known for its wildlife conservation and advocacy efforts, programmes such as this highlight its dedication to community engagement and social responsibility. The initiative provided an opportunity to promote the spirit of sharing and giving during the holy month of Ramadan, while strengthening bonds with the community and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooking session was led by a chef from Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn. Bhd., who prepared the bubur lambuk using a special recipe and demonstrated specific cooking techniques throughout the process. In addition, 99 Speed Mart Sdn. Bhd. contributed 1,200 salted eggs to complement the dish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme also received sponsorship of 1,000 event stickers from Go Print & Design, which were placed on the bubur lambuk containers. Meanwhile, The World Bee Museum contributed 200 bottles of honey drinks for Zoo Negara staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to chicken and beef bubur lambuk, this year\u2019s edition featured special menu items such as venison bubur lambuk, venison soup, and sweet corn porridge, adding a unique touch to the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoo Negara staff and sponsor representatives worked hand-in-hand from the preparation stage through to the final distribution. The bubur lambuk was distributed to Zoo Negara staff on duty, as well as to tahfiz centres, welfare homes, suraus, and nearby mosques on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This programme is expected to further strengthen the spirit of unity and collaboration among Zoo Negara staff and its sponsors \u2014 Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn. Bhd., 99 Speed Mart Sdn. Bhd., Go Print & Design, and The World Bee Museum \u2014 while promoting the values of generosity and compassion during the blessed month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
