BINTULU, 15 MAY 2026<\/strong> \u2013 MBSB Bank Berhad (MBSB Bank) marked a significant milestone in its commitment to the Sarawak region with the official relocation and opening of its Bintulu branch to a modern facility at SK One Garden City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat, Mr Johnny Pang Leong Ming, ADUN of Tanjong Batu, Yang Berhormat, Mr Iskandar Turkee, ADUN of Jepak and Mr Kong Ngiou Kwong, representative of YB Dato\u2019 Sri Tiong King Sing, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, in the presence of Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad, Chairman of MBSB, and Mr Usman Ghouse, Group Consumer Banking Officer of MBSB Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Bintulu branch is expected to enhance MBSB Bank\u2019s presence, positioning it at the heart of the town\u2019s rapidly evolving commercial and residential landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This relocation of the Bintulu branch is a key component of MBSB Bank\u2019s broader strategy to strengthen its service delivery across “Bumi Kenyalang,”<\/em> where the Bank has already established a strong presence through three branches in Kuching, Miri, and Sibu. By transitioning to the SK One Garden City hub, the bank is now better positioned to offer a seamless and sophisticated Shariah-compliant banking experience to its existing clientele, while simultaneously expanding its reach within one of the state’s most critical economic zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the launch, Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad, Chairman of MBSB, said that the relocation to SK One Garden City underscores the Bank’s commitment to supporting Sarawak\u2019s evolving economic landscape.
