KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May 2026 \u2013 <\/strong>This school holiday season, MyTOWN Shopping Centre invites families, friends and food lovers to come together for a flavour-filled celebration with the launch of \u201cMyFoodie Fest<\/strong>\u201d, happening from 27 May to 7 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed as a vibrant and family-friendly festival, MyFoodie Fest brings together exciting food experiences, live entertainment, and interactive activities across the centre, creating meaningful moments for shoppers to eat, explore and connect throughout the long weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival will feature two exciting experiences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foodies on Fire (27 May – 2 June 2026),<\/strong> taking place at Town Park and Sunken Garden, will bring together over fifty vendors serving a mouthwatering variety of grilled, fried, and savoury street food favourites. Shoppers can also enjoy live performances, interactive activities, and a lively outdoor atmosphere perfect for families and food enthusiasts alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following that, Delectable Foodies x Coffee Week (3 – 7 June 2026)<\/strong>, happening at Central Town, will offer a charming garden-inspired showcase featuring artisanal coffee, pastries, desserts, and other sweet indulgences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the festival, shoppers can look forward to an exciting line-up of activities including the Gamer\u2019s Hideout Cooking-Off Challenge, a Grill-It-Yourself Corner, live busking performances, and a Didi & Friends Meet & Greet session<\/strong>. The festival will also feature performances by local talents Aisha Retno<\/strong> and Cherpen<\/strong>, alongside lively music and entertainment throughout the festival period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MyFoodie Fest is made possible through the support and collaboration of MyTOWN\u2019s valued tenants and partners, including IKEA, Village Grocer, Decathlon, Eiger, Gamer’s Hideout, Kyros Kebab, Juice Works, and Absolute Thai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt MyTOWN, we believe shopping centres are more than just places to shop. They are spaces where people come together to discover something new and enjoy meaningful moments with one another. Through MyFoodieFest, we hope to bring families, friends, and communities together through food, fun and shared experiences during the school holiday season<\/em>,\u201d said Mohd Azhan Che Mat, General Manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond food and entertainment, MyFoodie Fest will also support a meaningful community initiative in collaboration with Gamer’s Hideout and Kechara Soup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kitchen Society<\/strong>. For over 17 years, Kechara Soup Kitchen Society has supported marginalised communities across Malaysia, including the homeless, urban poor and Orang Asli communities through its Soup Kitchen, Food Bank and Empowerment programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this initiative, shoppers can participate in the Cooking-Off Challenge by making a minimum donation of RM1 to play the popular two-player Nintendo Switch game, Overcooked<\/em>. Participants will work together to achieve target scores for a chance to win tenant vouchers, with all proceeds channelled directly to Kechara Soup Kitchen Society<\/strong> in support of its ongoing community efforts. The organisation will also be present at Town Park throughout the festival to engage with shoppers and raise awareness of its initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeyond creating experiences, we also want to give back to the community in meaningful ways. We hope this collaboration encourages shoppers to come together not only through food and entertainment, but also through small acts of kindness that can make a difference,\u201d<\/em> added En Azhan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conjunction with the festival, shoppers can also enjoy exciting rewards and promotions. With qualifying spending, shoppers can redeem a complimentary corn and grill set at Town Park<\/strong>, sponsored by Village Grocer<\/strong>, limited to the first 500 redemptions. Promotions are valid until 2 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, shoppers who spend RM150 in a single receipt can participate in a Digital Spin-the-Wheel activity<\/strong> for a chance to win exciting daily rewards, including RM69 and RM99 e-cash vouchers, along with other exclusive prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing to strengthen its retail offerings, MyTOWN Shopping Centre is also excited to welcome several new tenants this month, including U.JU Home, Siti Khadijah, Mamabunz and MKW: My Kreative World, <\/strong>further reinforcing MyTOWN Shopping Centre as an everyday destination designed for the many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
