PETALING JAYA, March 29, 2022 \u2015 Tupperware Brands Corporation (NYSE: TUP), a leading global consumer products company, announces today its plans to open a new office in Malaysia with a focus on building the brand\u2019s focus on customer-centricity and digital processes across the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tupperware\u2019s office in Malaysia will house regional corporate functions like Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal and Customer Care, as well as serving as the home for the company\u2019s first Global Business Services (GBS) hub in the region. The company\u2019s GBS approach is about building an integrated service delivery model across multiple locations with consistent processes and standard measures in order to deliver best-in-class services to the company\u2019s employees, customers and sales force members in the region. The company expects to employ approximately 70 jobs in the market because of this expanded presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have plans to expand beyond the kitchen and take Tupperware into more categories and channels than ever before to meet today\u2019s growing consumer demand,\u201d said Patricio Cuesta, President of Commercial Worldwide for Tupperware Brands. \u201cMalaysia will play a critical role in the strategic growth of our iconic brand by helping our organization shape into one that can support a more nimble, efficient and effective Tupperware of the future. The goal of our new GBS hub is to serve our Asia Pacific region by housing specialties in one place to support a broad set of our internal stakeholders to enable a best-in-class consumer experience and satisfaction no matter what channel we do business in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment of the Global Business Services center in Malaysia was the result from the partnership between Tupperware Malaysia Services Sdn Bhd, InvestKL and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the lead agency in driving the digital economy in Malaysia. Tupperware\u2019s strategy in expanding the capabilities of the Malaysia hub office is to set the foundation of a new way to strengthen the business with a modern approach of accountability, productivity, service delivery and business continuity approach. The company plans to create synergies and scale benefits that will strengthen operations with the new capabilities building in Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
