KUALA LUMPUR, 8 June 2026<\/strong> \u2013Pos Malaysia Berhad today unveiled its latest special stamp issue in conjunction with the highly anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026)<\/strong> campaign, a national tourism initiative that showcases Malaysia\u2019s rich cultural diversity, iconic destinations and the spirit of unity that defines the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stamp collection was officially launched at Pejabat Pos Besar Lama, Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad by Yang Berhormat Dato\u2019 Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture<\/strong>, alongside Charles Brewer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad, in the presence of invited guests, partners and members of the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia, Charles Brewer<\/strong>, \u201cThis special stamp issue is more than a collectible \u2014 it is a meaningful way for us to share Malaysia\u2019s story with the world. Each design captures the richness of our heritage, the diversity of our culture, and the unique experiences that define our nation. Through our extensive network, we are proud to support Visit Malaysia 2026 by connecting people and places, and by bringing Malaysia closer to the global community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pos Malaysia also extends its appreciation to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) for its active collaboration in the development of this special stamp issue, which reflects the shared aspiration of promoting Malaysia\u2019s diverse attractions and cultural heritage under the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Celebration of Malaysia\u2019s Iconic Experiences<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The VM2026 stamp collection captures the spirit of \u2018Malaysia, Truly Asia\u2019<\/strong>, featuring a curated selection of the country\u2019s most recognisable landmarks and cultural icons from across all states.  <\/strong>These include highlights such as Gua Kelam (Perlis), Langkawi Island (Kedah), Penang Hill (Penang), Wau Bulan (Kelantan), Terengganu State Museum (Terengganu), Cameron Highlands (Pahang), the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan (Perak), Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad and the Petronas Twin Towers (Kuala Lumpur), Bukit Melawati (Selangor), the Old Palace of Seri Menanti (Negeri Sembilan), A\u2019 Famosa (Melaka), Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque (Johor), the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly and Rhinoceros Hornbill (Sarawak), as well as Sigah and the Proboscis Monkey (Sabah).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collectively, the designs highlight Malaysia\u2019s unique blend of heritage, culture, and natural beauty, reinforcing the campaign\u2019s message of unity and diversity while inspiring both locals and international visitors to explore what makes Malaysia truly unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Distinctive Design and Finishing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stamp issue incorporates enhanced finishing techniques that elevate both its visual appeal and collectability, including die-cut elements, heart-shaped perforations on the miniature sheet, and spot UV finishing to accentuate key design features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The miniature sheet also features Wira and Manja<\/strong>, the official mascots of the VM2026 campaign inspired by the Malayan Sun Bear \u2013 the smallest bear species in the world and native to Southeast Asia. As an endangered species found in Malaysia\u2019s tropical rainforests, the Malayan Sun Bear symbolises the nation\u2019s rich biodiversity and ongoing commitment to wildlife conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The complete folder set, priced at RM62.60, consists of two se-tenant stamp sets featuring four designs (priced at RM0.50 and RM1.30 respectively), a miniature sheet, a First Day Cover with stamps and a First Day Cover with the miniature sheet, two postcards, and an official commemorative folder, offering a comprehensive keepsake of this special issue. In addition, two postcard designs are also available as part of the VM2026 issue at RM2.50 each, and may be purchased together with the stamps and other VM2026 philatelic materials from the date of issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conjunction with the release, customers may also enjoy a special VM2026 stamp available at 13 General Post Offices nationwide and Pejabat Pos Kangar, Perlis. Visitors can collect the stamp and use it on a variety of items, including stamp passports, postcards and journals, creating a memorable keepsake of their journey. The activation is expected to be available throughout the VM2026 campaign. By combining travel with stamp collecting and philately, this initiative offers another way to encourage tourism while inviting people to discover the beauty of stamps and Malaysia\u2019s rich cultural and destination stories through a uniquely personal experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All products are available from 8 June 2026<\/strong> at 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices, as well as selected post offices and the Pos Malaysia online store at www.pos.com.my\/shop<\/a>,<\/a> while stocks last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
