KUALA LUMPUR, 19 August 2026<\/strong> – HONOR is bringing the future of robotics to the heart of Malaysia with its self-developed humanoid robots – the HONOR Robotics A1 and D1. Making their international debut at the Malaysia Marathon 2026 on 30 August, before marching the National Day Parade at Putrajaya on 31 August, the robots will mark a historic moment where cutting-edge technology meets national pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malaysia is the first country outside China to witness the robots in action, following D1\u2019s victory at the 2nd Beijing E-Town Humanoid Robot Half-Marathon in April, where it demonstrated advanced mobility and endurance beyond the laboratory. This milestone underscores Malaysia\u2019s importance as a key market for HONOR outside China and reflects the brand\u2019s commitment to bringing its latest technological innovations and future-ready experiences to Malaysians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catch HONOR\u2019s Robots on the Marathon Tracks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HONOR invites Malaysians to head to KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to witness the A1 and D1 humanoid robots take on their respective race categories at the Malaysia Marathon 2026. The D1 will do the honours at the opening ceremony by taking on the 10KM route, starting from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur at 12:00 AM and putting its speed, stability, and terrain-traversal capabilities to the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the A1 humanoid robot will join participants, alongside Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in the 5KM category, flagging off at 7:30 AM from Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). Runners will have the unique opportunity to experience the excitement of running alongside the humanoid robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get Up Close with HONOR\u2019s Robots and Explore Interactive Booth Experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both humanoid robots will make special appearance at HONOR booths at KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 29 to 30 August 2026, where lucky visitors can get up close and take photos alongside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
