HONOR Records Strong Growth in Southeast Asia, While Foldables Lead in Multiple Markets<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>KUALA LUMPUR, 21 August 2026<\/strong> \u2013 IDC reported in Southeast Asia, while the overall market experienced a decline in shipments in H1 2026, HONOR led TOP manufacturers with a 15% growth rate. HONOR has also become the fastest-growing top brand in core markets such as Malaysia and the Philippines, in Q2 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand’s momentum continues in the premium segment too. According to IDC, HONOR ranked No.1 with over 50% shares in foldable smartphones in several key markets, including Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. In Malaysia\u2019s foldable smartphone market in Q2 2026, HONOR ranked No.1 with a 53% share of shipments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>In the Middle East, smartphone shipment declined 13% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, while HONOR grew 35%, becoming the only leading vendor to record growth, according to data from international analytics firm Omdia. The brand has also maintained its TOP 2 position in terms of market share in the region for two consecutive quarters. While in Africa, HONOR sustained robust growth in the first half of the year, surging by 53%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, IDC data reveals that in the first half of this year, HONOR was the only Chinese Android smartphone manufacturer to achieve year-on-year shipment growth globally.
