KUALA LUMPUR, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 – <\/strong>Malaysian fashion house ARLINA AYOU recently marked the launch of its boutique at Level LG1, The Curve, with an afternoon showcase graced by Yang Amat Mulia Hajah Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah binti Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail as Royal Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised by Bravo Events and Entertainment, the event brought together guests from the fashion and creative industries, media, and government, alongside brand partners Urban Retreats, Sony, and The Curve, as well as loyal clients, with highlights including a fashion show of selected ARLINA AYOU designs and a special performance by Tiga Soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arlina showcased her designs to guests in attendance and shared her journey in batik preservation with Royal Guest of Honour Yang Amat Mulia Hajah Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah binti Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The showcase highlighted the brand’s use of hand-drawn batik canting, hand-block batik cap, songket<\/em>, tenun,<\/em> embroidery and beadwork, techniques that reflect ARLINA AYOU’s approach to bringing traditional textile craft into modern fashion while preserving the skill and meaning behind each piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Batik has always been more than fabric to me. It holds the hands, care and stories of the people who make it. Every design starts with me, but it comes to life through the artisans I work with. This boutique is a way to honour their craft and show that it is not a relic of the past, but a living tradition that continues to grow and be worn with pride today,”<\/em> said Arlina Amdan, founder and creative director of ARLINA AYOU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Space for Craft and Connection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than a retail space, the boutique was created as a welcoming setting where clients can explore the brand’s collections, discover its design approach, and experience personalised service. It houses ARLINA AYOU’s Premium Ready-to-Wear, Atelier, Couture and Bridal collections, alongside styling consultations, private appointments, made-to-measure services and bespoke design consultations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded by Arlina Amdan, ARLINA AYOU has spent nearly three decades developing fashion rooted in Malaysian textile heritage. Each collection begins with Arlina’s own sketches before being developed with skilled artisans and specialist makers across the East Coast, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and East Malaysia. The process is so exacting that some couture and bridal pieces take more than 500 hours to complete, reflecting the time, skill and care invested in every garment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
