KUALA LUMPUR<\/strong>, 17 September 2026 \u2013 Munchy\u2019s Malaysia<\/strong> is marking its 35th<\/sup> anniversary under the theme of \u201cTaste Munchy\u2019s, Taste Happiness\u201d in conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day 2026. The milestone is being celebrated through Munchy\u2019s participation as a contingent in the National Day Parade and Powering Malaysia\u2019s Heroes, a nationwide employee-led initiative honouring those who protect, care for and educate Malaysians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, Munchy\u2019s products have been part of everyday Malaysian moments, from school breaks and family gatherings to festive celebrations. This lasting connection has helped Munchy\u2019s become Malaysia\u2019s favourite biscuit brand, enjoyed and trusted across generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReaching this milestone gives us an opportunity to thank Malaysians for growing with Munchy\u2019s,\u201d said Rodney Wong, Chief Executive Officer of URMunchy\u2019s Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe wanted our anniversary celebration to reflect that connection by celebrating the country we call home and recognising the people who contribute to it every day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 31 August, Munchy\u2019s made its first appearance as a marching contingent at the 2026 National Day Parade at Dataran Putrajaya. The contingent comprised Munchy’s employees who proudly represented the company at the parade, demonstrating national pride, teamwork and commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parade formed part of Munchy\u2019s broader support for the National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, which also included an RM500,000 in-kind product contribution. This year marks the company\u2019s third consecutive year of supporting Malaysia\u2019s national celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Powering Malaysia\u2019s Heroes, Munchy\u2019s teams delivered product contributions to close to 100 selected locations across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Recipients include offices and facilities of the Royal Malaysia Police, Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, Malaysia Civil Defence Force and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, as well as hospitals and schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe parade allowed our employees to celebrate Malaysia together, while Powering Malaysia\u2019s Heroes enables our teams to honour those who serve the country every day,\u201d Wong added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese heroes already devote their strength, courage and dedication to Malaysia. We are standing beside them to ensure their contributions are seen, valued and appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, both initiatives take Munchy\u2019s anniversary journey from shared moments to shared purpose, celebrating Malaysia and the people who continue moving the nation forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
