Public Bank and iCAUR have joined forces to promote greater accessibility to electric vehicle (EV) ownership in Malaysia, supporting the country\u2019s transition towards greener and more sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strategic collaboration is anchored by Public Bank\u2019s exclusive \u201cGo Green with Green Vehicle Financing \u2013 Paint the Town Green\u201d campaign, which aims to make green vehicle ownership more accessible and rewarding for Malaysians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership comes at a time when Malaysia\u2019s EV market is experiencing rapid growth. EV sales in Malaysia more than doubled in the first half of 2026, rising 106% year-on-year from 12,733 to 26,192 units. The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) has also raised its forecast for xEVs (including PHEVs, HEVs and BEVs) sales to 120,000 units, representing approximately 15% of total industry volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
