The launch of the HONOR X9e Pro comes as the X Series celebrates another significant milestone, receiving an Asia Records award for being the \u201cTop-Selling Mid-Range Smartphone Series for Three Consecutive Years\u201d, with the HONOR X9a, X9b, X9c and X9d contributing to this achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recognition reflects the strong journey of the X Series in Malaysia, which has continued to raise the bar in the mid-range smartphone segment across four generations, achieving a peak market share of up to 77%. Building on this momentum, the HONOR X9e Pro carries the X Series forward with a new generation of upgrades designed to meet the evolving needs of Malaysian consumers, continuing its journey as Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No.1 EXTREME Armor-Tough Durability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durability has always been at the core of the X Series, with each generation raising the bar in protection and reliability. The HONOR X9e Pro takes this further with a new level of HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0, inspired by the Halo safety system used to protect Formula 1 drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its advanced impact-management architecture combines arch-shaped structures, high-strength metal reinforcement and full-area adhesive bonding to help absorb and redirect impact away from critical components such as the display and mainboard. A shear-resistant PUR adhesive offers approximately 10 times greater shear resistance than conventional backing adhesive, further helps secure the screen during drops while distributing impact forces across a wider area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this technology the HONOR X9e Pro can withstand drops of up to 3 meters and helps reduce the risk of screen damage by up to 82%, earning SGS 5-Star Certification for Drop Resistance in Harsh Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HONOR X9e Pro\u2019s durability was put to the test during a recent media briefing where the device underwent a series of demanding durability challenges to showcase its ability to withstand high impact forces – from hammering nails into wood, withstanding the impact of a metal ball launched from a slingshot, to being fired at directly by and air gun*** under controlled conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No.1 EXTREME Ultra-Tough Water Resistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking protection beyond drops and impacts, the HONOR X9e Pro delivers industry\u2019s highest water resistance level with IP68, IP69 and IP69K rating. The device features a submarine-inspired multi-compartment architecture designed to help protect its internal components. The display, middle frame and back cover form separate sealed compartments, while key openings including the buttons, speakers, USB-C port and SIM tray are independently sealed to create multiple layers of water protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This allows the HONOR X9e Pro to withstand depths of up to 10 meters, compared with 1.5 meters on the previous generation, enabling it to reach up to seven times deeper than the standard IP68 depth requirement. To ensure its full water resistance, it was tested up to 100,000 submersion cycles and has survived a 24-hour continuous salt-spray test simulating harsh coastal conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to power, the HONOR X9e Pro leads as the world\u2019s first smartphone packed with a massive 11,000mAh battery, a huge leap from the previous generation\u2019s 8,300mAh capacity.
