KUALA LUMPUR, 24 September 2026<\/strong> – foodpanda Malaysia and Ryt Bank are making it easier for Malaysians to order and pay together, starting with foodpanda Group Order and Ryt Groups. The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on 7 September 2026, establishing a broader collaboration across payments, customer rewards, merchant engagement, delivery partner financial literacy programmes and other digital initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From deciding what everyone wants to eat to making sure everyone has paid their share, group meals can involve more coordination than expected. A recent foodpanda Malaysia poll of 1,750 respondents found that deciding what to eat was the biggest headache when organising a group order (38%), followed by chasing payment (29%). Other frustrations included someone changing their order (17%) and waiting for everyone to reply (16%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two pain points are at the heart of the first consumer-facing initiative under the partnership. foodpanda Group Order allows everyone to add their own choices to one shared order, making it easier to coordinate what everyone wants, while Ryt Groups complements the experience by helping users manage and se\ue009le shared expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
