MyTOWN Shopping Centre radiates joy this Deepavali with the Colours of Light Celebration from 26 September 2025 to 26 October 2025, featuring cultural traditions, captivating performances, and engaging activities for families and friends.
This year’s decor showcases Deepavali through a vibrant display of lights, textures, and pastel hues, inspired by the cultural charm of Little India. Drawing from ancient Indian illustration motifs and the iconic Patrika Gate, the design is reimagined to reflect Malaysia’s multicultural spirit. Shoppers are invited to immerse themselves in this festive space, capturing beautiful moments while celebrating the traditions and soul of Deepavali.
Adding to the festive ambience, a lively line-up of performances brings rhythm, colour, and joy to the mall, with highlights including the Bollywood Flash Mob, graceful Dandiya Dance, Junior Bollywood showcases, Peacock & Traditional Dance, and the energetic beats of Dhol Drums with Musical Walkabouts.

Throughout the month, shoppers of all ages are welcomed to participate in creative workshops inspired by Deepavali traditions, such as Floral Mirror making, Diya Painting, Scented Candle Crafting, and Table Lamp decorating. Accessible from only 25 points on the MyTOWNKL App, the workshops allow shoppers to craft unique pieces to take home.
Apart from that, MyTOWNKL App users enjoy exclusive rewards, with premium redemptions starting from just 500 points, including festive-inspired gifts such as a wooden coaster assorted set.
