KUALA LUMPUR, 30 June 2026 – GEEKAY emerged victorious to become the official Mountain Dew Challenge Season 2 Champion, beating the nation’s top contenders in a thrilling finale that marked the culmination of one of Malaysia’s biggest gaming campaigns. Held at the Sunway Pyramid, Blue Atrium, the Dew Challenge Season 2 Grand Finals brought together the country’s best teams, passionate fans, cosplayers and gaming enthusiasts for a day of intense competition and immersive experiences inspired by the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) esports title, Honor of Kings. The event marked the final chapter of a months-long campaign that challenged gamers across Malaysia to rise through the ranks and compete for glory, exclusive rewards and a share of RM750,000 in prizes.
GEEKAY claimed the Dew Challenge Season 2 title with an astonishing 3-0 victory over RENN in the best-of-five Grand Finals. While the champions lived up to their billing as one of the tournament favourites, RENN captured the spotlight with a remarkable run, including a stunning semi-final victory over crowd-favourite Aurora Gaming to secure their place in the championship match. Together, both teams delivered a nail-biting finale that showcased the passion, skill and growing depth of talent within Malaysia’s gaming scene.

The reigning champions walked away with RM50,000 in cash, exclusive Honor of Kings in-game rewards, including RM1,000 in Razer Gold Vouchers courtesy of Razer Gold and the coveted title of Dew Challenge Season 2 Champions.

Runner-up RENN earned RM25,000 and RM500 worth of vouchers after a remarkable journey to the Grand Finals, while AURORA secured third place with RM10,000 and RM250 worth of vouchers to round out the podium. Altogether, Mountain Dew awarded RM135,000 in cash prizes at the Grand Finals. The Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) award was presented to GK Musang King, who also received a ROG-sponsored Strix OLED Monitor for his standout performance.
Building on the success of Season 1, Dew Challenge Season 2 significantly expanded its nationwide footprint. Alongside six on-ground qualifiers including first-ever stops in Kuantan and Sabah, marking the competition’s debut in East Malaysia, the campaign’s roving recruitment truck travelled from Kedah to Johor, extending its grassroots reach well beyond the Klang Valley. Drawing more than 43,000 registrations, Dew Challenge Season 2 grew into a nationwide gaming phenomenon fuelled by livestreams, fan experiences, exclusive rewards and a shared passion for competition.

Throughout the weekend, the Grand Finals drew thousands of fans eager to witness the action both on and off the main stage.
