The Curve celebrates Festival of Lights with its 2026 Deepavali campaign

Petaling Jaya, 6 November 2026 – Traditions may be passed down through generations, but it is the moments shared together that keep them alive. This Deepavali, the Curve celebrates the stories, traditions and connections that make the Festival of Lights so meaningful with its 2026 Deepavali campaign, “The Golden Legacy.” From a radiant festive installation to interactive family activities and community initiatives, the campaign invites visitors to honour cherished traditions, create new memories and keep the spirit of Deepavali alive for generations to come.

From now till 15 November 2026, the Curve will be transformed into a celebration of Indian heritage, with a grand golden diya taking centre stage, symbolising the light, blessings and traditions passed down from one generation to the next. The festive installation features a magnificent elephant centrepiece, symbolising wisdom, strength, prosperity and good fortune. Complemented by a beautiful kolam display, vibrant hanging garlands and traditional Indian Deepavali lanterns, the decorations bring together rich cultural elements to create a warm, colourful and inviting festive atmosphere. Visitors can also capture memorable moments at thoughtfully curated photo corners, including a traditional chair adorned with festive decorations and a heritage-inspired lounge featuring rugs, lanterns and carved artefacts, offering families a welcoming space to gather, celebrate and embrace the joy of Deepavali.

“Deepavali is a time to come together, celebrate our cultural heritage and share in the joy of the festive season. Through The Golden Legacy, we hope to bring these traditions closer to our community by creating opportunities for families to connect, learn and celebrate together. We believe that when traditions are shared and experienced together, they become meaningful memories that continue to inspire future generations,” said Ms Elaine Liew, General Manager of the Curve.

Keeping the stories of Deepavali alive

Beyond the festive installation, the Curve brings the meaning of “The Golden Legacy” to life through activations such as the “Light the Legacy”, an interactive game that offers a playful way to become part of this tradition. Families can play the game online and create their own colourful kolam designs.

The celebration continues with a vibrant Deepavali bazaar featuring traditional Indian treats, alongside cultural performances, including traditional Indian dances, and family-friendly activities such as festive crafts, kolam and rangoli workshops, and diya lighting. Together, these experiences bring the richness and vibrancy of Indian heritage to life, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the sights, flavours and traditions of Deepavali while creating meaningful family memories that last beyond the festive season.

Sharing the light beyond the Curve

The spirit of “The Golden Legacy” extends beyond the mall, with the Curve bringing the message of care and togetherness to the wider community through a Deepavali corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative in partnership with SKJT Ladang Edinburgh. A total of 50 underprivileged students and their parents will receive Deepavali Care Packs containing essential household and festive items to help them prepare for the celebrations and share in the joy of the festive season.

Celebrate Deepavali with festive rewards

Adding to the festive experience, from 28 October to 15 November 2026 shoppers can enjoy special Gift-with-Purchase (GWP) rewards at the Curve:

  • Spend RM100 to redeem an exclusive set of Deepavali packets.
  • Spend RM300 to redeem an RM10 Curve voucher and a set of Deepavali packets.
  • Spend RM500 to redeem a Dessini electric pot and a set of Deepavali packets.

This Deepavali, the Curve invites families to celebrate the traditions that bring them closer, share in the joy of giving and create memories that will be treasured for years to come. Because while the Festival of Lights illuminates our surroundings, it is the love, traditions and moments we share that keep its Golden Legacy shining across generations.
