What became a cultural phenomenon in the 1990s now evolved into something entirely new: a portable speaker and ambient lamp, transforming one of modern art’s most recognisable symbols into creations that blend creativity, technology, and everyday functionality.
Brought to Malaysia exclusively by ante, a Singapore-based curator of design-led lifestyle products, the Lexon x Jeff Koons Balloon Dog Collection will be showcased at the ante pop-up event on the Ground Floor, Seibu, The Exchange TRX, from now till 2 January 2026. Balloon Dog Speaker: Where Sound Becomes Sculpture
The Balloon Dog Speaker reimagined Jeff Koons’ celebrated sculpture through a transparent lens, crafted from high-quality translucent materials that accentuate its signature curves and reflective surfaces. This isn’t merely a speaker that looks beautiful – it’s an acoustic experience wrapped in art.
Powered by Bluetooth 5.0 and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology, the speaker delivers 360° high-fidelity sound through six active drivers and four passive radiators, engineered to produce deep, immersive audio that fills any space. Built-in microphones enable hands-free calling, merging everyday convenience with creative expression. Meticulously developed over more than 50,000 hours, the Balloon Dog Speaker embodies Lexon’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation — transforming sound into a work of art that captivates both the eyes and the ears.
Balloon Dog Lamp: Painting with Light
The Balloon Dog Lamp transformed illumination into an immersive art experience. Embedded with nearly 400 integrated LEDs, it emits up to 200 lumens of adjustable multicolour light, spanning the spectrum from warm and cool whites to vibrant expressions of blue, green, magenta, and beyond.
Through Lexon’s proprietary Easy Sync technology, multiple lamps connect and synchronise effortlessly, enabling users to choreograph colour and brightness across entire rooms for a coordinated visual symphony. Beyond lighting, it transforms ambience into art, filling every space with warmth and personality.
A Fusion of Artistry and Authenticity
Each Balloon Dog creation bears Jeff Koons’ engraved signature beneath its front paws and includes a certificate of authenticity and holographic seal, reinforcing its exclusivity and collectible appeal. Standing 28cm tall and weighing 900g, both the lamp and speaker are crafted for durability, merging museum-quality artistry with practical design.
