After eight years of painstaking research and development, the company has finally unveiled its Transforme Miracle Latex Collection during a product launch with the title of “Getha’s Dark Secret – Transforme Miracle Latex”, in The Exchange TRX Mall today.
The bedding products under the Transforme Miracle Latex Collection are the first in the world to be infused with Getha’s Miracle Latex (Graphite+ natural latex) and paired with Getha’s BioCool – 100% natural cooling yarn derived from sugarcane fibres.
These products are Transforme Miracle Latex Mattress, Transforme Miracle Latex Pillow and Transforme Miracle Latex Bolster. The collection also includes an entry level Miracle Latex Pillow without the BioCool fabric.
During the launch, Getha project director Kevin Tan explained why the “Miracle Latex” (natural latex infused with Graphite+) was superior compared to regular latex.
“Graphite+ is not just an excellent thermal conductor but makes the latex more hygienic, elastic and durable. So, our ‘dark secret’ symbolises nature’s hidden strength that emerges from earth’s raw element.”
“Born from the earth, graphite is a natural form of carbon, sharing its element with diamonds. It represents the transformation from raw material into a brighter, healthier sleep experience,” Tan said.
According to him, the Transforme Miracle Latex Collection would assure its users of deeper rest, better mood, stronger immunity and a full-body recovery after a good night rest. Moreover, the combination of Miracle Latex and BioCool fabric improved air flow and the heat dissipation properties of the mattress, leaving the bed feeling naturally cooler.
“You no longer have to worry about sleepless nights in hot and humid weather in a tropical country like Malaysia or fear that your electricity bill will go up because you have to switch on the air-conditioner for the whole night,” he said.
Getha’s Miracle Latex is also four times more elastic than conventional materials used in other mattresses and a test by the Malaysian Rubber Board found that it is 1.5 times more elastic than regular natural latex.
To complement the Transforme Miracle Latex Mattress, Tan also announced that Getha was introducing a new bed frame designed with beautiful curves and a 100% natural latex padded headboard.
“This new bed frame is crafted with a sink-in design paired with a German hydraulic motor, a first for Getha as heavy latex mattresses makes it difficult for consumers to lift the heavy mattress and change the bedsheet.”
“With this bed frame, the mattress can be elevated with just a tap of the button. So, you can change bedsheets easily. The elevation system also reveals a hidden storage compartment under the bed,” he said.
