What is TREVO
TREVO is a people-to-people car sharing platform where Guests can book any car that fits the needs and wants for the trips they are going to, from the nearest Hosts in the TREVO community.
TREVO envisions a world where the community is closer, mobility is better, and travelling is easier. We aim to help our Guests reach where trains don’t and to fill the gaps in their journey by exploring with any car. We also want to enable Hosts to earn extra income to finance their cars and their lives, while they help to improve mobility in Malaysia.

How to Book a Car
We’re so happy to know that you’re planning to take a trip with TREVO! If you want to know how to book a car, we have prepared a guide just for you here.
(1) Sign up.
(2) Register by submitting your Selfie with IC/Passport, copy of IC/Passport and driver’s license/International Driving Permit together with the Driving license issued by home country.
(3) Select a car.
(4) First, select your location and travel dates for car options.
(5) You will be able to filter your search by price range, car type, car brand and transmission type.
(6) Once you have decided, submit a booking request.
(7) Your Host will have 24 hours to approve or decline your request.
(8) Once your Host has accepted your booking request, discuss with them a time and place for the car pickup.
Note: You cannot book two cars for the same travel dates.
For documentation, all messages between Host and Guest are required to be saved until the trip is completed without any incident – in case you need to raise any disputes.
Picking Up A Vehicle
– You will need to bring your CDL (Competent Driver’s License) in order to start your trip.
– You will be given 15 minutes from the designated start-time before you are considered a no-show. If you are unable to meet your start time, let your Host know as soon as you can. Check the cancellation policies section for more details.
– Both Host and Guest will need to agree on the condition of the car before the trip can officially start. Be sure to take note and photograph the condition of the car to avoid any discrepancies
– You are responsible for returning the car in the same condition in which you received it. Photos of the car are the only way to document its condition.
In the event that the car does not meet agreed expectations, please contact us.
Returning A Vehicle
In the spirit of upholding TREVO community guidelines, we ask that you replace the fuel. Cars should be returned with the same amount as the start of the trip.
– Ensure the car is returned with the same level of cleanliness as in the beginning of the trip.
– Review the initial check done with the Host prior to the trip for reference
– Take pictures of the car’s condition post-trip.
– Bring the car to the correct location agreed upon with the Host.
Post-Trip
You may incur some incidental costs from the trip. Your Host may request for reimbursement. You can find a list of Fees & Fines section here.
If you or your Hosts have reported some damage, a member of TREVO will reach out to you.
You will need supporting documents for all claims. We will review the information submitted to TREVO to determine whether or not you are responsible for related costs.
What Are the Payment methods accepted by Trevo
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We are also working to introduce more payment methods in the future.
What is TREVO Delivery
TREVO Delivery is a special service we provide to all Hosts for all their bookings. This service includes basic cleaning and inspection of cars. Our trusted Custodians also help Guests to conduct the inspection on their behalf in order to ensure a safe trip for everyone.
