The launch coincides with the rollout of a nationwide dance challenge, inviting Malaysians to celebrate the Year of the Horse with movement, music and meaningful moments.

From 15 January to 3 March 2026, the Chotto Matte Kudasai dance challenge invites Malaysians nationwide to get moving and stand a chance to win prizes worth over RM38,888. Participants simply need to create and share their own dance video inspired by the song.

To participate, entrants are required to include the song’s signature hand stop gesture in their dance video, creatively incorporate the line Chotto Matte Kudasai from the official music video, upload the video to their social media platforms, use the hashtag #ChottoMatteDIY, tag MR D.I.Y.
