PETALING JAYA, 29 April 2026— Samaiden Group Berhad (“Samaiden”) today announced the successful completion of a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation for Nippon Electric Glass (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“NEGM”) further reinforcing its capabilities in delivering high-complexity Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (“EPCC”) projects for large corporations.
The project showcases Samaiden’s ability to provide integrated, end-to-end clean energy solutions, including the incorporation of advanced system components such as Medium Voltage Systems (“MVS”), while ensuring seamless execution from design through to commissioning. The completed installation comprises both rooftop solar PV and Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (“BIPV”) systems, demonstrating a scalable and practical approach to renewable energy adoption. The project represents an important step in the company’s efforts to strengthen environmental responsibility while enhancing long-term energy efficiency.
With the system now in place, NEGM is expected to reduce approximately 6,900 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, reinforcing its commitment to more sustainable operations and a lower-carbon future. The milestone also underscores the positive partnership between Samaiden and NEGM in bringing the project from implementation to completion.
“This solar PV installation marks an important step forward for NEGM as we continue advancing our ESG journey and taking real action to reduce our carbon footprint. It reflects our commitment to building a more sustainable business and ensuring that our growth is aligned with greater environmental responsibility.” said Mr. Ken Hamajima, Managing Director of NEGM.

Managing Director of Samaiden Group Berhad, Datuk Ir. Chow Pui Hee, said the completion of the project reflects NEGM’s commitment to adopting cleaner energy solutions as part of its broader sustainability efforts. “We are pleased to have supported NEGM in delivering this project, which combines both rooftop solar PV and BIPV as part of a practical clean energy solution. It is encouraging to see more companies translating their sustainability aspirations into visible and actionable initiatives.”
The completion event serves as a celebration of this achievement and reinforces NEGM’s intention to continue pursuing initiatives that create long-term value for both business and the environment.
As sustainability continues to become a greater business priority, renewable energy solutions such as rooftop solar PV and BIPV offer companies a practical pathway to improve energy performance, manage long-term operating costs, and reduce environmental impact.
This project further positions Samaiden as a trusted solutions provider for corporations seeking to implement impactful and scalable renewable energy initiatives. The solar PV installation was completed by Samaiden as the project’s appointed solar EPCC partner.
