Held at an intimate private venue in Kuala Lumpur, the event marked the unveiling of the brand’s newest hero product, 7 Bunga Radiance Oil.
Founded and proudly made in Malaysia, 7 Bunga Radiance Oil draws on mandi bunga, the traditional seven-flower bath used in moments of self-care, cleansing and renewal found across Southeast Asia.

The launch itself unfolded as an intimate beauty experience, with guests invited to discover the story behind 7 Bunga through a series of sensorial touchpoints. At the centre of the activation was a scent discovery bar featuring the seven botanical extracts behind the formula, ylang ylang, white champaca, blue lotus, jasmine sambac, tuberose, rose maroc and neroli, alongside product demonstrations and pampering spa sessions that brought the brand’s philosophy to life.

Invited guests also took part in a bespoke tea-choosing experience inspired by YouZenAn’s botanical and herbal tea range, with each blend selected to suit their mood. The three-day activation welcomed a strong turnout of guests, including Joanne Kam, Ning Baizura, and alongside close friends of Datin Catherine, lifestyle media, fashion editors, and socialites. Their presence reflected the growing appetite for Malaysian-made beauty rooted in a natural, heritage-led point of view.

The experience also included a meet-and-greet with founder Datin Catherine Lai, who shared the deeply personal story behind the brand. “As a third generation Malaysian, I grew up surrounded by the flowers my grandmother and mother used in their own rituals of care. 7 Bunga is my way of bringing that heritage home, not as something old fashioned, but as something we can return to every day. This launch means the world to me because it is a legacy I am building for my sons, Alexander and Adrian, and for a new generation rediscovering what has always been ours,” she said.
