15 OCTOBER 2023 TURKISH AIRLINES KL TOWER INTERNATIONAL TOWERTHON CHALLENGE 2023In conjunction with KL Tower’s 27th Anniversary, throughout the month of October, KL Tower is going to have several events lined up, starting from the Turkish Airlines KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2023 that has taken place as one of the highlight events to celebrate the anniversary celebration.
“Throughout this October, KL Tower has planned several exciting activities to commemorate this auspicious occasion to highlight the achievements of KL Tower since its establishment in 1996. We will be having events such KL Tower Feast where we will have food trucks, cultural shows, and picnics at our Tower Terrace,” said Mr Nazli Saad, Chief Executive Officer of Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd.
Meanwhile, he added that this is the 21st edition where the Towerthon Challenge has been hosted at KL Tower.”
We are moved by the number of participants this year although the weather is not on our side, we still managed to get a good number of participants. This shows that people are still keen to get involved in this kind of sporting activity. I believe that most of the participants have the same interests, and they share a strong passion for this sport. KL Tower looks forward to organising more events like this where we can call Malaysians and tourists to come together and participate in these kinds of activities,” he said.
During the prize-giving ceremony, a total of ten participants in the Turkish Airlines KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2023 were fortunate enough to receive amazing prizes through a lucky draw. The grand prize for the lucky draw included two return flight tickets to Istanbul, Türkiye, worth RM15,000.
The top 100 finishers in each of the six categories will receive a special FINISHER t-shirt, in addition to more prizes, giveaways, and goodies provided by the event’s partnering organizations.
The participating partners for the Turkish Airlines KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2023 include Turkish Airlines as the title sponsor, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Tourism Malaysia, Fire & Rescue Department (BOMBA) Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, and The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
