PETALING JAYA, 24 NOVEMBER 2023 – Samaiden Group Berhad (“Samaiden” or the “Group”), a renewable energy (“RE”) specialist principally involved in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (“EPCC”) of solar photovoltaic (“PV”) systems and power plants, in a significant stride towards sustainable development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), proudly announces the launch of a groundbreaking solar project at Tsun Jin High School.
This initiative, part of Samaiden’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship, involves the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system with a capacity of 637.65kWp.
The installation at Tsun Jin High School is set to have a profound environmental and economic impact. It is estimated to avoid approximately 453 tonnes of CO2e emissions per year, playing a crucial role in combating climate change. Additionally, the school will benefit from substantial cost savings, with a reduction of more than 40% in its monthly energy expenses. This initiative not only underscores Samaiden’s dedication to environmental conservation but also reflects the Group’s commitment to supporting educational institutions through sustainable practices.
