NRTs as a safe and medically approved alternative to quit smoking
Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRTs) work by releasing therapeutic nicotine into your bloodstream at much lower levels than in a cigarette. Therefore, NRTs have been widely proven as an effective method for smokers to quit smoking effectively. Supporting this, the Malaysian government has also made NRTs ready for over-the-counter purchase since October 2022, after granting an exemption to nicotine under the Poisons Act 1952 for products in the form of patches or gum registered under the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984, both of which are used as aids to quit smoking.

Each packet contains 7 patches, and they come in three doses, which vary depending on your smoking frequency.
