Atria Shopping Gallery in Petaling Jaya unveiled its festive celebrations ‘The Luminous Raya’, offering an international, cross-cultural showcase that celebrates the heritage, culture and traditions of Malaysia and Middle Eastern.
Launched on March 21, 2024 at the mall’s centre court, Luminous Raya aims to bring light and happiness to all shoppers for a joyful Raya.
OSK Property’s property investment chief operating officer Seth Lim said that apart from rejoicing the festivity, they reinforced the value of inclusivity.
“As a community centric mall, it is important to contribute to the needy society and go beyond accepting to embracing. Inclusion must be at the heart of what we do.
“We are very delighted to know that our tenants are very supportive of this Raya CSR activities for the 20 children from Rumah Suci Rohani and we will ensure that CSR at heart is continued even after the festive season with the aid from all our tenants.
“I thank all the participating tenants for their continuous support for the deserving community,” he said.
Present at the event was Damansara Jaya Residents and Owners Association president Dr Ong See Lien.
The campaign officially opened with the lighting of Middle Eastern lamps by Seth Lim, and continued with Middle East Arabic dance and instrumental performances, and ending with a “buka puasa” session with underprivileged children from Rumah Suci Rohani.
Prior to the feast, the children were treated with play-time at Jungle Gym and Bomb Battle Elite, a decent hair cut at Kwik Cut and Atmosphere Salon, treats from MBO Cinema, a gift of fish tank and fishes for each child, duit raya from RUMA, plushie toys from Homes Harmony as well as gelato ice cream treat at Swich Café.
The kids were also taken to Harvest Stationary to grab their school essentials sponsored by Atria Shopping Gallery.
The Luminous Raya campaign, which runs from March 21 till April 21, 2024, will feature a whole lineup of programs and activities.
As visitors enter Atria Shopping Gallery, they will be greeted with contemporary Middle Eastern lamps in bright, stunning colours dangling elegantly from the intricately colourful drapes hanging at the centre court of the ground floor and other stunning backdrop filled with photo-worthy opportunities entranced by the beauty of Arabic interior design.
Equally Instagrammable is the elegant courtyard with a private lounge area and panoramic fountain as the centre-piece.
With various booths, shoppers need not worry about missing out on essentials to brighten their festivities this year.
During the entire Ramadan month, shoppers can also choose from a variety of restaurants to break fast at with their families and loved ones, as well as unwind after a long day.
Raya gift redemption
From March 21- April 21, 2024, shoppers will be rewarded with RM10 Atria Shopping Voucher when they spend RM150 and above in two accumulated receipts on the same day for Atria Friends or RM250 for non-Atria Friends.
Customers will receive RM20 Atria Shopping Voucher with a minimum spend of RM300 and above for Atria Friends or RM400 for non-Atria Friends in a maximum of two accumulated receipts on the same day.
Raya bazaar
The Raya Bazaar is located on center court, ground level from March 21 – April 21, while at the concourse level, it will be held from March 21 – April 7, 2024. The Ramadan Bazaar at South Entrance will be from March 30-31, 2024.
From a variety of Raya booths, browse and select the perfect gifts from apparel, Turkish carpets to fashion accessories, Raya cookies and hampers.
Ketupat drop
On March 31 and April 6, at 5pm on centre court, be the lucky one to pop and grab exciting prizes up to a total prize of RM10,000. Just be there to join the excitement. No spending is required.
Arabic Night costume competition
Watch your little one rock on the runway in Arabic costume. Registration is free and opens from now till April 18, 2024. Competition is on April 21 from 2.00pm – 5.00pm on centre court.

The Aidilfitri Hunt is on April 21, from 3pm – 5pm. Join the hunt for the clues at the mall wide and stand a chance to win amazing prizes. A total of 15 prizes are waiting.

Cultural performances and workshops
Look forward to be entertained with performances ranging from Egyptian-Arabic belly dances to Malay traditional Raya dances. Shoppers can expect riveting traditional musical performances featuring rhythmic Raya sounds of the bamboo – Angklung Performance, Arabian giant Oyen inflatable mascot and upbeat Riuh Tradisi Kampung Dance, along with Malay kite ‘Wau’ making workshop.
