With 21 service centres strategically covering both Peninsular and East Malaysia, including 17 Authorised Service Centre equipped with Body & Paint (B&P) services, the extensive BYD aftersales network provides seamless support, with a focus on customer accessibility spanning key regions such as Penang, Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, East Coast, Sarawak and Sabah. These facilities providing expert body repair services, supported by certified EV technicians equipped with advanced tools and hydraulic parking bays.

- Centralised Parts Distribution Centre (PDC):

- Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Centre:
This advanced facility ensures every vehicle undergoes rigorous quality assurance checks before being delivered to customers. It is equipped with a three-level mechanical parking system, optimising space efficiency while securely accommodating vehicles during the inspection and preparation process. - BYD Service Centres with Advanced EV Tools:
All BYD service centres are equipped with specialised tools for EV maintenance. Customers can enjoy a premium lounge experience with comfortable seating and workspaces while their vehicles are being serviced. (Picture Refer Appendix 5 & 6)
- Body & Paint (B&P) Centres:

Skilled Electric Vehicle Technicians
BYD’s service excellence is driven by its team of BYD certified High Voltage (HV) technicians, with ongoing training to ensure 100% certification. Comprehensive Warranty and 24/7 Roadside Assistance
In line with its commitment to providing peace of mind, Sime Motors offers extensive warranty packages and exceptional customer support services, including:
- 6 years or 150,000 km for the vehicle
- 8 years or 160,000 km (battery replacement is provided if the SOH falls below 70%)
- 8 years or 150,000 km for the drive unit
For further customer support, the BYD Customer Care line is available at 1300-38-1888, operating Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, offering assistance for inquiries and feedback. Flexible Service Packages for Every Need
In addition to warranty and roadside assistance, BYD offers Service Packages that are tailored to suit varying customer needs. Available in 3, 6 and 8-year options, these packages come in Standard and Plus tiers to accommodate both customer’s high and low usage patterns. These packages can be purchased separately or bundled with car loans for added convenience.
The Service Packages are designed to provide a worry-free aftersales experience by locking in current service prices, shielding customers from inflation. By servicing their vehicles at BYD Authorised Service Centres, customers can ensure their cars receive expert care, maintaining optimal performance and prolonging the vehicle’s lifespan.
