LALIGA EA Sports FC Beat the Best was officially launched for the first time ever in Malaysia together with AEON as the main Sponsor and Vertex as LALIGA local partner and organizer of the event.LALIGA will thus repeat last season’s success and positive reception with its international Beat the Best tournaments.
This was announced today at a joint press conference in Kuala Lumpur where the details of the tournaments in Malaysia were announced, which will have the particularity that it will be a tournament both online and offline: Malaysia will host an event on April 12th and 13th, 2025 that will feature activities and will celebrate the final of the tournament together with a LALIGA Legend, a former LALIGA player that will participate in the events and host a Meet and Greet with the fans.

Malaysian aspirants can register from today until 17th March to take part in the online tournaments, to be held from the 17th to the 23rd of March.
The participants will fight during the month of March for a combined prizepool of RM30,000, with the winner of the Malaysia tournament having the opportunity to travel and experience LALIGA in Spain.

Apart from Malaysia,many other countries have also kicked off their online tournaments, and China and USA will both have their own tournaments combining online and offline challenges during 2025.
LALIGA FC Pro and LALIGA EA SPORTS X FC 25 RUSH
In Spain, LALIGA FC Pro, the only official EA Sports FC 25 competition in the country, kicked off its 2024-2025 season on November 28 and 29 with the first event, the ‘Rising Stars’.
LALIGA’s official gaming competition has established itself as the benchmark for competitive gaming in Spain thanks to the alliance with EA SPORTS, which continues to drive this new era oriented towards the future of digital entertainment. Last season, more than 3,300 people participated in ‘Rising Stars’, in which five online tournaments were also played, and different prizes were awarded. With ‘Rising Stars’, LALIGA FC Pro starts its eighth consecutive season, which started with SuperCup the past December 13th, finding Sevilla FC as the first champion of the season, LALIGA FC Pro Cup and LALIGA FC Pro Finals in different cities of Spain with the presence of the public.
In addition, on Friday, December 13th, as one of the highlights of GAMERGY — Spain’s largest esports, video game and entertainment event — LALIGA and EA SPORTS hosted LALIGA EA SPORTS X FC 25 RUSH, a unique competition that pit LALIGA legends against EA SPORTS FC gamers in a revolutionary format: a match in the EA SPORTS FC 25 video game and in reality. The first team members were Luis Figo and Carles Puyol, facing off against xBuyer and Spursito.
