KUALA LUMPUR, 24 July 2025 — A duo of best friends from Selangor were crowned champions of the MR D.I.Y. ‘Bounce & Bingo 3.0’ Championship, walking away with a RM10,000 cash prize.
The exciting two-hour competition, which combined the thrill of ping pong balls and bingo, saw Dzul Sharizma and Wan Mohd Hariz beat 14 other teams from across Malaysia to claim the title. The duo defeated the Kuala Lumpur team in the first round, surpassed Negeri Sembilan in the quarter-finals, and triumphed over Sarawak in the semi-finals before securing a final victory against Perak—achieving bingo in just 15.12 seconds.
This national-level game championship offered attractive prizes worth up to RM25,000, including cash, vouchers, trophies, and medals. As champions, Dzul Sharizma and Wan Mohd Hariz received RM10,000 in cash and a trophy.
The first runner-up, a team from Perak, took home RM5,000 in cash and a trophy. The second runner-up, from Kelantan received RM3,000 in cash and a trophy. The championship awarded consolation prizes worth RM500 in cash vouchers each to 12 other teams from Johor, Melaka, Sarawak, Terengganu, Kedah, Perlis, Sabah, Negeri Sembilan, Pulau Pinang, Pahang, and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan.
‘Bounce & Bingo 3.0’ also marks the final edition of the tournament, as MR D.I.Y. paves the way for new and exciting customer engagement initiatives in the future. To celebrate the finale, MR D.I.Y. introduced the ‘Bounce & Bingo Masters’, a special segment featuring grand prize, first runner-up, and second runner-up winners from all three editions. In this epic showdown, the ‘Bounce & Bingo 3.0’ champions from Selangor, Dzul Sharizma and Wan Mohd Hariz, once again emerged victorious, bringing home an additional RM8,000 in cash and a trophy.
The first runner-up, a team from Johor and winners of Bounce & Bingo 1.0, received RM5,000 in cash and a trophy. The second runner-up from Perak, the second-place winners of Bounce & Bingo 3.0, walked away with RM3,000 in cash and a trophy. Consolation prizes worth RM500 in cash vouchers were also awarded to returning teams from Sarawak, Putrajaya, and Selangor.
Sharing their joy, Dzul Sharizma and Wan Mohd Hariz said, “This was our first time joining the ‘Bounce & Bingo’ tournament. We honestly thought we would only win a consolation prize, so taking home the grand prize was completely unexpected. Winning another grand prize in the ‘Masters’ edition feels like a real blessing. We’re still figuring out what to do with the prize money, and we’re very grateful to our families for their support. A huge thank you to MR D.I.Y. for organising such a fun and memorable experience.”
