KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – September 6, 2023 – Green Smart Planet has conducted its global launching of the world first green and smart city industrial economic ecosystem internet platform and Malaysia’s first world-class comprehensive Green & Smart City development project, held at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. The event has invited the esteemed guest of honour, YAB Dato’ Sri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and special guest YB Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry for officiating the launching ceremony and witnessing the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Green Smart Planet and four prominent Malaysian companies.
GREEN SMART PLANET – A GREEN AND SMART INDUSTRIAL ECOSYSTEM PLATFORM
Green Smart Planet is the world’s first and only operational Green and Smart industrial ecosystem platform with international reach, supporting both online and offline activities across borders. The Platform integrates the application of nine key economic behaviours involved in the development of Green and Smart Cities, including ‘Real Estate Development’, ‘Planning & Design’, ‘International Procurement’, ‘Construction & Engineering’, ‘Service Operations’, ‘Investment Opportunities’, ‘Professional Services’, ‘Entrepreneurship & Innovation’ and ‘University-Industry Collaboration’.
Green Smart Planet is operating through a membership-based platform model, committed to provide global corporate users such as property developers, urban planning organisations, government agencies, manufacturers, research institutions and more, exclusive services and applications. The Platform assists its corporate users in expanding international market opportunities, enhancing business matchmaking efficiency, reducing transaction costs, shortening cash cycles, and facilitating cross-border business transactions through the four core values offered by Green Smart Planet.
Green Smart Planet advocates four core values to its corporate users within the Platform.
1. Using Renminbi (RMB) as the pricing, transaction and settlement currency for cross-border business transactions carried on the Platform. This initiative lowers exchange rate conversion costs and mitigates exchange rate volatility risks for global market economic activities in the development of Green and Smart Cities. Additionally, the platform collaborates with global third-party service providers to offer bilateral currency financial solutions to assist corporate users in alleviating cash flow pressures.
2. Implementing Sharing Economy applications within each nine key economic behaviours involved in the development of Green and Smart Cities. Committed to reduce overall project costs and maximising economic benefits to both sides, embodying the principle of mutual benefits beyond traditional transactions.
3. Providing Exclusive Point-To-Point Value-Added Services by Clement & Associates. These services connect the corporate users to professional consultants located worldwide, to cater to their specific needs, targeting objectives or designated subjects. This one-on-one business matchmaking fosters successful transactions among corporate users.
4. Conducting Independent Due Diligence for each corporate user, with independent due diligence reports provided by professional law firms from around the world, ensuring the authenticity of all users’ information and content on the platform, instilling a sense of reliability and credibility.
Green Smart Planet adopts a model of national-authorized operations to establish exclusive platforms for industry stakeholders involved in the development of Green and Smart Cities in various countries, connecting these exclusive platforms to achieve comprehensive global coverage and addressing the current pain points of disconnected global industry markets and resources.
In addition to the nine key economic behaviour applications, Green Smart Planet introduces an international “Global Centre” application, which keeps all industry stakeholders involved in the development of Green and Smart Cities updated with real-time industry news, market information, and more. It features an international bidding & tender centre and a global trading platform to handle international procurement, engineering bidding information, surplus goods trading, second-hand equipment trading, green plants trading, and other trading information.
Green Smart Planet introduces an “International Arbitration Court” that integrates arbitrators and lawyers from around the world. It streamlines the traditional, complex international arbitration process, enabling online cross-border hearings, with an average time frame of 7 working days for rulings, enforceable in the 157 member countries of the New York Convention. This expedites the resolution of international business and cross-border trade disputes efficiently.
Green Smart Planet addresses the sensitive issue of “national data security” that has garnered global attention. Central servers and edge cloud settings for Global Centre Date are located within the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia, yet with “independent database” servers set up in each respective country to securely store local corporate users’ data, minimizing the risk associated with jurisdictional boundaries.
MALAYSIA’S FIRST WORLD-CLASS COMPREHENSIVE GREEN & SMART CITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Green Smart Planet has licensed its Malaysia partners to develop the world’s first Green and Smart City Showcase and Future Industrial Innovation Clusters Pilot Project. The project plans to develop the first “Green Smart Planet Edge Computing Cloud Data Centre”, “Green Smart Planet International Convention and Exhibition Centre”, “Green Smart Planet Lifestyle Experience Hall”, “Green Smart Planet Households Retail Mall”, and also 32 clusters of “Green Smart Planet Future Industrial Innovation Base” over a 407 acres land which obtained development order for commercial and residential development located at Johor Iskandar Malaysia Economic Zone D. Aiming to become a model city for others to demonstrate that urban development can be environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and economically vibrant, contributing to a better quality of life for its residents while preserving the planet for future generations.
