KUALA LUMPUR, 23 January 2024 – The Year of the Dragon is celebrated for its strength, power, and success. Ancient tradition encourages to tap into the dragon’s energy in welcoming positive opportunities and transformation.
To celebrate Chinese New Year, MyTOWN Shopping Centre (MyTOWNKL) joins the festivity by embracing traditional values with contemporary aspirations, marked by Wisdom and Wealth.
“The concept of wisdom holds a special place, it signifies the importance of knowledge, experience, and the continuous pursuit of personal and collective enlightenment. In tandem with wisdom, the celebration also embraces the theme of wealth, which symbolises prosperity and good fortune,” said En Mohd Azhan Che Mat, General Manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre.
Capturing the vibrant spirit of the Chinese New Year, an unconventional music video has been composed, weaving in the often-overlooked taboos associated with this festive season. Infused with an upbeat vibes and cleverly written lyrics, You Dunno Meh adds a modern twist to ancient customs. This unique composition revolves around unity, diversity, and the shared joy of celebrating Chinese New Year in harmony despite the cultural differences. It enriches the celebration and builds a stronger, more connected community
The bustling marketplace contributes to the festive atmosphere, offering a variety of goods, crafts, and traditional food. Shoppers are invited to participate and share celebration with loved ones in making this season truly joyous.
