In addition to a cash donation, vivo Malaysia provided a supply of essential daily necessities to Rumah Victory Children & Youth Home to support the children’s basic needs and overall well-being. An appreciation flag was presented to Rumah Victory’s director Loh Chee Onn in recognition of the partnership.

Rumah Victory has been serving the Malaysian community since 1988. Originally established as a rehabilitation center, it expanded in 2016 to include an orphanage and relocated to its current premises in Batu 14 in 2024 to better accommodate growing needs. The home currently cares for 19 children—10 in primary school and 9 in secondary school. Following direct engagement and a needs assessment, vivo Malaysia selected Rumah Victory as the beneficiary for this outreach to provide both financial support and hands-on assistance.
During the visit, vivo Malaysia participated in a volunteer program. Activities included light cleaning and upkeep to improve the children’s living spaces, interactive games, and a dance session to encourage participation and enjoyment. vivo volunteers spent dedicated time listening, laughing, and building trust with the children, turning simple activities into memorable emotional anchors. The initiative strengthened teamwork and communication among vivo volunteers while leaving the children brighter, more confident, and emotionally supported.
“We recognize the challenges faced by many care homes and communities today,” said Mike Xu, CEO of vivo Malaysia. “This initiative reflects our commitment to act with empathy and support those in need. At vivo, we believe in more than just business; we believe in building a positive legacy. That is the spirit of ‘love vivo, love Malaysia’, it is a commitment to cultivating a culture of service among our employees and investing tangibly in the communities we are proud to be a part of. The ‘We Care’ Program is powered by the participation of every employee, and we are dedicated to continuing this journey of support.”
vivo Malaysia affirms its commitment to ongoing community engagement and plans to organize at least one community outreach program annually. The company intends to maintain long-term partnerships with local welfare organizations to ensure a sustained impact and continuity of support.
