GWM’s Globalisation Strategy
With 34 years of car-making expertise and 27 years of international expansion, GWM now proudly serves 14 million users across 170 countries. Guided by the Four Globalisations—Locally Built, Locally Operated, Globally Cultivated, and an Integrated Supply Chain—GWM is redefining mobility on a global scale.
These efforts in emphasising the four globalisation strategic pillars have yielded remarkable results. From January to November 2024, GWM achieved overseas sales of 411,848 units, marking a 45.77% year-on-year growth. This milestone surpasses the company’s total overseas sales for 2023, signalling its transition into a new phase of high-quality global expansion.
Additionally, GWM Malaysia is proud to reflect on its recent milestones, highlighting its rapid growth and positive reception in the local market. The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV, the company’s first Completely Knocked Down (CKD) model, achieved a significant feat by delivering 600 units for this hybrid SUV. This success demonstrates the strong demand for GWM’s innovative and eco-friendly offerings in Malaysia.
This growth is further demonstrated through the CKD factory’s partnership with EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB), which adheres to global quality benchmarks, ensuring GWM’s commitment to providing high-quality, locally assembled vehicles. GWM’s confidence in the reliability and durability of its vehicles is further highlighted by the provision of extensive warranties, offering peace of mind to its customers.
At Great Wall Motor (GWM), we are proud to be part of Malaysia’s journey in transforming its automotive landscape, guided by our philosophy Go with More, Grow with Malaysia. This reflects our commitment to delivering real value through More Choices, More Care, and More Experiences while upholding global standards of quality and innovation.
