The ‘Drive Further, Win Bigger’ GWM HAVAL H6 HEV Fuel Efficiency Challenge, which ran from 20th
January to 9th February 2025, invited owners to test their SUVs’ potential. The challenge aimed to demonstrate the SUV’s real-world performance under optimal driving conditions while pushing the boundaries of fuel efficiency. The champion’s impressive mileage stands as a testament to GWM’s commitment to delivering sustainable, high-performing, and innovative vehicles in the local automotive market.
The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV continues to solidify its position as one of the top-choice SUVs in Malaysia since its official launch in October 2024. It offers cutting-edge hybrid technology, a spacious cabin and boot space, and superb driving dynamics—features that align with the local consumers’ lifestyle needs.

The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV’s Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) technology combines the power of an internal combustion engine (ICE) and an electric motor, providing a combined system output of 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. With a fuel consumption rating of 5.8L/100 km, this SUV can travel more than 1,000 km on one full tank.
With the upcoming rationalisation of RON95 fuel subsidies, it is the ideal vehicle choice for maximising fuel economy while delivering impressive performance.
The second round of this challenge has started from 17th February to 9th March 2025, with the top 6 winners having a chance to win a petrol card worth RM 1 for every 1 km of mileage.
